Raptor's Zip Up | Chrome Mirror RAM

CHF 56.24

Born in 2006, 4065 began her career with the 27th Fighter Squadron. She would later be briefly transferred to the 199th Fighter Squadron before ultimately returning to the 27th.

In 2021, she joined the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron, where she remains assigned today. Not long afterward, however, she appeared wearing a mysterious chrome-like coating alongside one of her sisters, 4070. A striking departure from the low-observable, non-reflective finishes typically associated with modern combat aircraft.

The true purpose of this coating was never publicly disclosed. Some speculate that it was intended to reduce her infrared signature, while others believe it represented an early form of advanced ceramic-based RAM. More ambitious theories suggest it was designed to improve survivability against emerging directed-energy weapons.

Whatever the answer may be, it remains one of the Raptor's most intriguing mysteries. Perhaps we were never meant to know.
